Bottom scale is the Locrian #9 scale, a well used Bebop scale in the time of the 50's. It's a half diminished scale with a #2 (raised 2). These are 4 of the scale groups that Dexter Gordon practiced. The other is Dominant 7th. 5 Scale groups. Mark had me play these every day. I still do that. Had to learn from my mind though. He did not want me to write them out.
